I will be taking a four day break and will not be using any electronic devices until I return. I will leave you with these photos, enjoy and turn out the lights when you leave. Thanks, have a great week, FJ.
The Edge…of the table, not the guitar player dude.
Spring
A wonder of nature or is it just poor housekeeping…you decide.

Love the first one! hurry back now, I miss you already
Thanks nursie, what a nice thing to say.
“A wonder of nature or is it just poor housekeeping…you decide.”
A wonder of nature!! Spider silk is amazing! It’s tensile strength is greater than steel, yet it is extremely elastic (nature’s version of nanotechnology). Webs were even used in ancient wound care to clot blood since they are a good source of Vitamin K. Think of the fun and games (most notably swinging from the rafters) if female abdomens sported spinneret glands. Still, the OCD side of me wants to thrust a broom up there and tidy up.
Haha, the mind boggles if you girls had these glands. I love spiders btw.
The Edge is bad ass…. looks post modern. I mean the table not the guitar player. I dig the cobweb shot too. I have one as well I’ve been meaning to post so it’s definitely a wonder of nature and not poor housekeeping.
My internet and electric have been going off a lot lately and I’m really starting to love it. When every electric devise in the house is off, it’s just a different vibe. Pure silence is golden. Have fun!
I agree with you on the non-electric vibe. I am not going ‘off the grid’, just a short holiday to Carmel. Thanks amigo.
Really like the edge and have always been a cobweb fan – enjoy the holiday xxx
Enjoy the break!!!
Not poor housekeeping, love of nature. I know you dude! I love cleanliness but spider webs are pieces of art sometimes. Have a great time. Have a Carmel Apple for me!
webs–oh the frustration of camera-ing them! You caught this one quite nicely.
Thanks 47wb.
Nice shadow play and I’d say not so nice housekeeping, but who cares.
Ahhhh, the angles. Angles and lines from the table, blending to the fence, and then window panes, and a true wonder of nature, like a crazy solo blending all of the lines and angles into a beautiful web. Viola! Superb! Have a great getaway!
I love these three, Mr Jelly. Lovely colour and shape. Have a nice break and see you soon.
A good housekeeper always keeps a web around to control the bugs on the houseplants.
True that, thanks for the drive-by linlah.
As usual, I’m siding with the Lynchian “Edge” as my pick du jour. Greats shots all over, but that one has a certain “possible death/terrification located in these shadows” look to it.
And “Hi” right back at you, FJ. Fool myself once, shame on me. Fool myself twice, goddamn you Eric Richardville!
Haha, Eric Richardville is ruining everything, thanks CLT.
I don’t think I can choose a favorite this time. Each have something to say in a beautiful way. Enjoy your mini-vaca!
Loving the shadow play, and the cobweb? Well…I’m going with bad house keeping…this time. lol. Enjoy your little break
)
I love all of these, FJ.
Only you can make me appreciate something that otherwise has me running in the opposite direction. (And no, I’m not talking about The Edge…or the guitar player dude, for that matter).
shadows can be pretty psychedelic!
Thanks for stopping by 25bar.
Thanks to all, I appreciate the kind words and best wishes. Cheers, FJ.
Number one: “Not that guitar player dude” but yet it looks like God’s guitar pick…
Number two: The grass really is greener.
Number three: It’s a trick question; it’s both!
Haha, insightful as ever RR, thanks amigo.
mi placer para servir a fotógrafo superior
Gracias.
