I like the Truss the best of all. There’s something sexy in all those angles. Like a hot geometry teacher…or something.
Bridges still do fascinate me. We had a bridge building competition for a class in Jr. high. I came in 3rd…. I still think of what I could have done differently.
Ah . . . part of my old occupation. Funny though, after getting slammed with all these snow storms, I’m really liking that green stuff in the “Arch” picture. A nice taste of spring . . .
Hey everybody, its Bschooled and she’s sending this email from a Women’s Prison in Guatemala. I hope you got our care package with the Ranch dressing!!
Very nice selection, FJ. “Arch” looks like the kind of place you’d rather not be when realizing that the serial killer/reanimated corpse is nearer to you than you thought. (Thanks for the hint, musical sting!)
I love that second shot. It makes me think of that show, life after humans, or whatever it’s called… you know the one…on discovery channel. Anyhow, just the overgrowth and seeing the bridge as if it’s an ancient ruin. Of course, if it was an ancient ruin there’d be vines and crap all over the bridge too. Ok, enough with the babbling…lol
Haha, that’s pretty much how I saw it as well. The other two shots were your basic cliches, but this seemed to have a backstory or something. Thanks Amber.
Fundamental Jelly is operated, for no apparent reason and to no useful purpose, by Robert J from a small home office in Northern California. Robert J is a wildlife biologist and once witnessed a clown pick up dog poop with a spoon.

To think it all started with the ingenuity of the Romans. I stand in awe of good engineering.
As do I E3H, thanks.
These are all lovely FJ. Don’t think I can single out a favourite today
Thanks nursie, that’s a first.
We brits invented grandscale engineering and made an industrial revolution of it; good idea?
I am not so sure Dave??
Me neither!
Girder is my favourite here, beautiful in its simplicity.
Thanks SE, good to see you out and about again.
I love “Truss”. The angles and the depth!
Thanks Jill.
These look sturdy. I remember being on a bridge in Jamaica and while a bus was passing by it shook. My friend and I ran….off it…I was so scared.
I don’t blame you Corve, thanks for the drive-by.
I like “girder” – both the word, and the photo. I believe that repeating the word “girder” can improve your Swedish pronunciation.
Haha or is it Jaja. I think you’re on to something Josh, thanks man.
I thought a girder is what Myra always wears.
That’s right Bear…Girder Friday.

Third place!! You’re a man of many talents Scott, thanks amigo.

I hope its not a flashback Dan. Yea, I am ready for spring too.
Great bridge shots. Funny thing is all my posts were bridge shots today too. Must be bridge day.
and Dave (Lazy Photographer) posted a bridge shot too
Great minds think alike Lynn (lets go with that). Thanks, I’ll stop by and check yours out later. Thanks again.
Girder is good! Looks like a painting. I too have a fascination with steelwork.
Thanks T, show us your BlueSteel.
Crazy how they’re all the same theme and yet all so compltely different.
Yeah, I’m with NM, I really can’t pick a fave. Although if I had to, I’d probably say Girder. I feel like I could almost touch it…
(Nevermind, I just tried and realized I couldn’t.)
Kicktastic stuff, FJ.

I had a feeling you would like this one CLT and yes, I did keep an eye out for partially decomposed corpses.

And here I thought this was a dental themed post.
Finally, the joke revealed!
They don’t call me Mr. Fixodent for nothing…
