I like how the half mask shot gives a feeling of continiual progression, even as grainy texture alludes to a more static subject, which evokes early Russian conflict literature, or the NFL playoffs.
Give me another minute to figure out what I just wrote, but it sounds cool.
Stunning shot, I want that mask. Someday you have to visit me and visit the flea markets around rural Spain. Some of the stuff will blow your doors off!
And a way cooler mask than the ones they have over here.
The locals are dumbfounded. Why a tourist wouldn`t want to buy a ceramic replica of a one-eyed angry looking Mayan woman´s face and hang it on their wall back home, is beyond them.

Cool capture, but a tad creepy.
Thanks DK.

Great imagery, FJ!
Haha, the playoffs, that’s hilarious Dan.
I just gotta say, FJ – - – those red eyes are fantastic!
Love those red eyes!
Lovely and er, creepy…yea that’s it. Hope to see you back in action soon.
This image planted an exotic, other-world story in my head. A gay Avatar watches his life-partner begin to humanize and fade away.
Totally what I was thinking.
Death masks?
I hope not Dave.
FJ, you might need to reconsider where you are hanging out. Cool shot.
Good point.
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!! Captured the sunlight perfectly.
Thanks Jill.

I would love to visit you Scott and I can only imagine a Spanish flea market, gotta be cool. Thanks bro.
I’ve never read that particular Nabokov story. Is it good?
Of course I love Nabokov and if you’re referring to the “The Wood-Sprite” short story, its very evocative. Good catch nursie, not much gets by you.
Great shot, FJ.

Thanks B, hope all is well.
Are they edible?
If they’re not then they should be.
I’d give it a try. What’s one bite gonna hurt?
